Water Sports and Biking
Warm waters and consistent waves make Topsail Island an ideal spot to catch a wave. You can travel to the island with your own surfboards or you can pick up a rental in Surf City. The surf shops deliver across the island and rent a wide range of boards. They offer SUP, kayaks, and bikes. The main surf spots on the island are around the piers and at the Point, which is located on the north side of the side island. The island is very flat, which makes for easy biking into town or on the beach.
Beach and Pier Fishing
Fish from the beach in front of the house or hit one of Topsail's three fishing piers. You can also drive to the end of the island at the cut and walk out or drive with a 4WD vehicle. Many other options to book a guided charter.
